Happy New Year!

2013 is here! There's a lot of excitement in the air. I'm feeling very optimistic about this new year because of all I was able to do in 2012. I found more time for crafting, especially crochet. I went to Vogue Knitting Live in January to learn lace knitting and shop in the marketplace. I drove to Rhinebeck - by myself! Scary but exhilarating. I went to the Kings County Fiber Festival - first time but they got a crowd. I also visited some LYS during the NYC Yarn Crawl. So here are some pics from this year's yarn adventures:

Happy Holidays

Christmas was very nice this year. There was even a sprinkle of snow on the 25th. My nieces & nephew had a great time opening presents! Then we ate pancakes before going back to playing and taking pictures to send to relatives & friends far away. The fun of technology today is that I can send pics or videos instantly. Did you have a great Christmas? What's your favorite part?

Try, try again.

So here I am trying again to get a blog going. I liked the start of the first one but was only able to write 2 posts. This winter was brutal. I was inside a lot of the time crafting & plotting but then didn't get to the blog. Definitely not as easy as I thought it would be. Anyway, I thought maybe changing the name and having plenty of time would help. I'll post some pics of what I've been doing since this January when I began my other blog, Once Upon a Blue Moon. See, I'm all about the BLUE. Anyone who knows me knows I love Blue in all shades and objects. I'll talk more about that as I go on. Enjoy!
